a lifelong resident of the SF bay area, Nailah has been doing photography since 2019. she started with aviation photography.
traveling ever since she was 2 years old, in 2019, she found herself at bayfront park which spans along the San Francisco bay. She was watching the various traffic at sfo land and takeoff and she asked herself "do people photograph aircraft?" it turned out, there's a worldwide community that loves plane spotting. Since then, she's spent most of her weekends plane spotting at SFO and other airports across the country including in Los Angeles, Santa ana, Sacramento, and new york.
in September 2023, nailah earned her private pilot's license and aims to become a professional pilot in the future.
yes, nailah can take pictures of things other than planes, and also does sports and street photography, capturing athletes from her high school classmates to the professionals and the sights of san Francisco to new york.
outside of photography, Nailah plays varsity basketball and loves all things sports.
